Edith Cavell Died on this date

Edith Cavell was an English Nurse running a Belgium Hospital when Germany invaded. She became part of the underground helping solders (English, Fench and Belgium) escape the occupied city. The Germans discovered her part in these activities and shot her. Her death was used as a propoganda tool to increase inlistment of soldiers and may have been part of the reason the US entered the war.

The MS Support Group meets at the St. Joseph Annex on E. 29th Street. Education, new research and support for those newly diagnosed, family members needing support and MS veterans.

This event repeats on the second Sunday of every month until 06/13/2014
